SEG25 Series Solid Section External Gear

A modular series of rings with relatively large gear module and wide geared ring, offering maximum gear capacity in a small diameter slewing ring. High shear forces are catered for by the pilot diameters, thus reducing the shear force to be carried by the bolts.

Materials

All bearings manufactured in 42CrMo4 for superior gear strength

Grease points

All bearings supplied with 4 grease points in the outer ring only, DIN 71412A M8x1 equispaced

Consider the GreaseMax Auto lubricators to ensure optimum relubrication in service

Load and bolt limit curves

Bearings should operate within the prescribed triangular load area at all times.

The bolt limit curve is based on the use of Grade 10.9 bolts
