QCB Bearing Housings are available in a wide range of styles for parallel, tapered or stepped shafts.

To compliment the housing, we can supply a full range of bearings, sleeves, lock nuts, washers, seals and automatic lubricators.

Spheroidal graphite cast iron and cast steel housings are options for increased housing strength.

A wide range of sealing arrangements are available, including felt, rubber, labyrinth and taconite types.

7225 Series flanged housings

• Designed to accommodate 12 Series and 22 Series self-aligning ball bearings as well as 222 Series spherical roller bearings
• Housings manufactured in grey cast iron
• Triangular housings offer sizes 25-60mm ; square housings offer sizes 65-100mm
• Shaft end (Style A) and through shaft (Style B) designs
• Non-locating housing design, but use of locating rings will offer axial location of the bearing
• Felt seals
• If high axial loads are expected then the housing strength in the axial direction must be taken into account (if the load acts towards the cover then it is limited by the 3 screws retaining the cover)

I-1200 Series flanged housings

• Designed to accommodate self-aligning ball bearings with extended inner rings
• Housings manufactured in grey cast iron
• Can be used in conjunction with ground shafting or bright drawn bar
• As the outer ring is axially located in the housing, axial movement is allowed by slotting the shaft under the inner ring grubscrews
• If high axial loads are expected, then the housing strength in the axial direction must be taken into account (if the load acts towards the cover, then it is limited by the 3 screws retaining the cover)
