Jaw couplings consist of 2 machined hubs with a variety of elements between them to cater for the demand of low cost, general purpose couplings. They absorb some shock loads and limited misalignment. They are ideally suited to machinery driven by standard IEC electric motors. Available with taper sleeve fitting, or bored and keyed for even easier assembly, for shafts up to 100mm or 4”.
