HPL – Hanger units
QCB® Thermoplastic Hanger Unit is a complete housing with a stainless steel insert filled with food-grade grease.
- Interchangeable with cast iron units
- Working temp range -35 to 102°C with excellent dimension stability
- 304 Stainless steel bolt inserts and grease nipples

The QCB® Thermoplastic range of housed bearing units consists of solid-base PBT thermoplastic housings matched with AISI 440 stainless steel inserts. Open and closed style end caps further prevent contaminant ingress.
Used in applications where product contamination is forbidden. QCB® Thermoplastic bearing units are available in a wide range of housing styles and with bore sizes from 12 mm to 50 mm or 1/2″ to 2″ from stock.
The housing offers a solid base and smooth finish to limit areas susceptible to bacterial growth.
To maximise corrosion resistance, not only is the bearing completely stainless steel, but so are the bolt inserts and grease nipples (suffix N). Inserts are filled with a high-quality (FDA-approved) food-grade grease (suffix 6)
HPL Hanger units are similar in style to short block or tapped base units similar in dimension to the cast iron UCPA 200 or SNP Series.
