  • All SWR V-belts can be grouped individually into matched sets.
  • All products are electrically conductive (anti-static) to DIN ISO 1813
  • SWR V-belts are suitable without restriction for use in tropical regions, and oil- and heat resistant with restrictions up to 120° C.

Of particular interest are the SWR Power Guard belts for Extreme Conditions which offer long life in arduous conditions due to their fibre loaded core.

SWR can also deliver special designs to meet your particular needs. SWR has a large number of special designs in its programs, for example V-belts with profiled liners, special V-belts for the foodstuffs industry, and designs with reinforcing aramide cords.

A full range of matching pulleys

Standard V-Belt pulleys can be used with both “classical” belts and “wedge” belts to transmit power and torque between various industrial appliances.

NBC stock a wide range of cast iron (EN-GJL-250 UNI EN 1561) V-belt pulleys, including some very large sizes not normally readily available. A smaller range of steel (C45) pulleys are also stocked.

There are two standard V-Belt pulley types

Pilot Bore
These have a small pilot holes that can be machined (usually bored and keyed). NBC can supply pulleys machined to customer’s requirements.

Taper Bore
Most common type and use taper bushes to easily fix them to a shaft. Most economical as the combined cost of a taper bored pulley and taper bush is usually cheaper than a pilot bore pulley that requires a machined bore and keyway.

The standard V-Pulley range is available in the following sections:

SPZ (also suitable for Classical Z) – Pilot bore or Taper bore with up to 8 grooves
SPA (also suitable for Classical A) – Pilot bore or Taper bore with up to 6 grooves
SPB (also suitable for Classical B) – Pilot bore or Taper bore with up to 10 grooves
SPC (also suitable for Classical C) – Pilot bore or Taper bore with up to 12 groove
